My goal is to equip you with the essential tools to facilitate your healing
and support you in managing and decreasing your pain with ease
so you can shift your attention back to the things in life that bring you joy.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO:
I became a MindBody coach (and a psychotherapist), because I found my way out of deep suffering (due to my own chronic pain condition), and I promised myself that if I ever found the way out I'd help others find their way out, too.
I'm here sharing these tools with you because I want you to know you don't need to suffer alone- and you don't need to suffer at all.
There is an easier way forward and you have the key within you.
I'm just here to point you toward the key and guide you as you set yourself free.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
I grew up in New Hampshire and still love spending time in the woods and in nature, but have been a city girl for the last 12 years!
I got involved in theatre starting at age 7 and worked as an actor in NYC until age 28 when I shifted careers and became a psychotherapist.
I have been practicing yoga and meditation since 2004, became a yoga teacher in 2016, have over 800 hours in training as a yoga and meditation and mindfulness teacher, and lived at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health for one year as a yoga intern!
I love all forms of creative self expression and love to include creative modalities in my work with clients.
I believe my superpowers are my compassion, presence, open-mindedness, and sense of humor :)
My work as a chronic pain coach is influenced and inspired by the work of: Peter Levine, John Sarno, Nicole Sachs, Howard Schubiner, Tara Brach, Alan Gordon
I am regularly reading and attending trainings to further my knowledge of all the cutting-edge and evidence-based approaches for treating chronic pain.
