I’m a big reader.
I’ve always got a few books going at once.
One paperback, one or two on kindle, one or two audiobooks.
But I have to admit something…
Up until this year they’ve pretty much all been non-fiction.
😲
Why?
When I was struggling with chronic pain I got in the habit of consuming a ton of non-fiction as I searched for relief. I also always loved learning about all things wellness, health, healing and spirituality.
This year, with encouragement from a friend, I decided to slow down and start enjoying fiction again, and it feels so good! Whether it’s reading fiction, or just lying down and listening to music, anything you can do in life that helps you to slow down and be present, without any pressure to be productive, will be hugely helpful in your healing process.
That being said I’d love for you to benefit from my voracious non-fiction reading habit.
Whether you’re apprehensive about the world of mindbody work, or you’ve done my 12 week program and you’re hungry for more I trust that these books below will be great companions on your healing journey.
